Travels to the North!

Pilot Mountain on 52 Northbound

We left Saturday morning for Michigan, off to visit friends and hopefully enjoy a bit cooler weather. So far there have been no vehicle issues, and we have slipped quickly back into the rythyms of motorhome living.
Yesterday we stayed at a park where one of the amenities was LLAMAS!  They were shaggy beasts and they seemed very used to people gaping at them. The park also backed up to what looked like just a landing strip, and this morning before we left we watched a pilot practice his approach, many times.

A very majestic dude!

We are currently just south of Flint in Seven Lakes State Park, just outside the tiny village of Holly, Michigan. It's a very busy, but pretty park.

Saw this interesting covered wagon looking unit on the road. Home built on a small hauling trailer. Fiberglass nose and really heavy vinyl coated canvas side walls in eye catching colors. I bet it's cozy inside.
